Today I want to introduce you to Nanbaan Pwaspo from Nigeria, who I met at the Internet Governance Forum in Kyoto Japan. We’ve known each other for a while on Instagram, but today we met for the first time for real. Nanbaan is Youth Ambassador 2023 of the Internet Society and a promising talent in the new generation of emerging young women scientists in cybersecurity. This is why she also receives a scholarship from „Cyber Girls“, Africa’s biggest female focused Novice-To-Professional cybersecurity training program. Currently Nanbaan works a digital security associate at Resilience Technologies, and she is specialized in civil society and the threat landscape in Africa – and of course, she is a strong advocate for online privacy and security.
