This has not only legal and economic risks, but also ethical problems when artists suddenly sing songs on topics they would otherwise never do. This makes it all the more important to steer this new use of AI in the right direction. Google has taken on the problem, negotiating a deal with Universal Music to properly license artists‘ voices from the start.
